It also leases sleep pods to companies offering nap rooms as the latest fringe benefit in a 24/7 world.

Craftmatic Settles West Virginia Fraud Charges

craftmatic logoThe State of West Virginia has reached a settlement with the statewide distributor of Craftmatic adjustable beds and the Arkansas finance company used by Craftmatic. J. Jaz, Incorporated and Dent-A-Med, Inc. will pay a total of $570,000 to settle consumer fraud charges.

Attorney General Darrell McGraw said his office began investigating Craftmatic after it received a large number of complaints about the high-pressure sales tactics Craftmatic uses to sell its beds, which cost an average of $4,000.
