What to Know Before Ordering From an Online Pharmacy

If you can’t get a reference from a friend then check out this website www.ripoff.com. Enter the name of the pharmacy you are contemplating doing business with and see if there have been any other customers who have posted a complaint to the site.

Call the customer service department number listed on the “Contact Us’ page. Make sure there are live people on the other end of the phone. You need to know if there is someone you can call if you have any problems or question after your order has been placed.

Ask customer service if a pre written prescription from you family doctor has to be mailed in to get before they will fill your prescription. Some pharmacies do not require a prior prescription. This is okay. Just ask them what the process is and if they have licensed physicians on staff to facilitate the prescription writing process.. Typically when you place your order online you will be asked to complete an online health questionnaire detailing your health conditions and any other medications you are taking. One of the pharmacies staff doctors will review your questionnaire and write your prescription. If he has any question concerning you health and the medication your are ordering he will call you at your home before the prescription is written and filled. Once the prescription is complete the medication will be mailed to you home indiscreet packaging so no one will know what is inside package.

While you’re on the pharmacies website check the copywrite information at the bottom of every page. There will usually be a date (year) included in the copy write information. This is the date the website was created. Look for a date that is at least 3 years old. This will indicate the site has been online for quite a while. It also indicates stability. If an online pharmacy is not legitimate it usually won’t be online for very long, certainly not more than one year. Still, I recommend you look for pharmacies that have been around for at least three years.

In addition, there have been rumors of non-certified pharmacies placing the counterfeit certified seals on their website making it even more difficult to tell the good operators from the bad.

Perhaps the most important reason not to avoid an online pharmacy the does not display a certification seal this that most certified pharmacies charge much higher prices than non-certified pharmacies. I personally chose to purchase from reputable non-certified online pharmacies since there medications are so much cheaper. In some cases were talking about hundreds of dollars for a single one month supply of a medication. Just follow the advise listed above to help you located a reputable non-certified pharmacy before placing your order.

No prescription pharmacies will ask you to complete an online health questionnaire. A licensed physician will review you rquestionnaire and then write your prescription. Refills are even easier since they already have your prescription and health information on record. All you do is request a refill and it will be at your doorstep within a few days. Most online pharmacies will even send you a reminder email notifying you when you prescription is due to be refilled.

The days of waiting weeks to get an appointment to see your doctor just to get your prescription refilled are over. Plus you don’t even have to get dressed and drive to the doctor’s office. You don’t have to pay $100 for a doctor’s visit. And you don’t have t wait at the drug store for 30 minutes while they fill your prescription. And the biggest plus of all is that you will save a substantial amount of money. Just be sure you chose a reputable online pharmacy by following the simple steps mentioned above.

Good luck!
