Link Count Widget

Imagine if you could display the number of links to each of your posts in real-time — updated live for all your visitors. That's what you get with the Technorati Link Count Widget. It's a simple piece of code that allows us to make this article directory more dynamic.

Technorati tracks when "bloggers" link to your article (from all sources) and this widget makes it possible for you to display the number of links on every article. We call them "reactions" to encourage readers to follow the conversation.

One caveat: In a small number of cases, you may notice some fluctuation between the count on your page and what you see when you click through to see all the reactions. We're actively working on this and hope to have a permanent fix soon.

Although there may be a few bugs in the Technorati system, we feel it is a very useful addition to this site and the promotion of your articles. We will be monitoring any updates from Technorati and will make them available immediately.

To view this widget in action, check any article on this site and look just above the "Please Rate this Article" section. You will see "View blog reactions"

Why all members don't fill out their profile information has always been a mystery to me. They submit articles to try and promote their websites and themselves yet fail to get easy, free promotion with a proper profile page.
