When you have a supportive bed pillow, it helps you sleep better each night in a healthy posture. You’ll feel rested, and if you have been experiencing neck troubles, a new pillow might alleviate some of those woes.

What is a Down Pillow?

A down pillow is a pillow filled with the inner plumage of waterfowl such as ducks or geese. Down is very soft, light and fluffy and does not have the usual feather quill shaft like feathers. A single unit of down is referred to as a cluster, and with its many thousands of filaments, the cluster resembles a ripe dandelion pod. Though down is lighter than feathers, it has a three-dimensional structure that causes it to insulate very well by trapping more air.

Silk Duvet CoversFinally the secret of a blissful nights sleep is here. If you are one of the millions of people who wake up in the middle of the night being too hot, too cold or just plain uncomfortable - help is at hand! A silk filled duvet can change the way you sleep forever.

You may think this is a bold statement, but read on. Silk filled duvets are not anything new in fact they have been around for thousands of years. The Chinese have long known the amazing properties and benefits of sleeping under silk. Silk bedding used to be the sole privilege of the Emperor but fortunately today we can all enjoy what was once reserved for royalty.

Silk is a natural fibre and as such has many benefits over more the conventional duvets. Unlike down and polyester duvets, a silk duvet “breathes”.
